Terms of service
Using EatHere
These terms apply to EatHere, operated by Eat Here Indy LLC (“EatHere,” “we,” “us”), including its food coverage, events, resource guides and RestaRecs. EatHere also operates EatHere Marketplace as a shopping destination, with separate purchase terms. By using Discovery, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Public Discovery does not require an account. Our Privacy policy explains how information is handled.
Information and recommendation limits
Coverage is informational, not a guarantee of business quality, current opening hours, inventory, prices, event availability or eligibility for assistance. Check important details with the restaurant, organizer or program before relying on them.
RestaRecs generates answers using AI and may get facts wrong or leave out relevant information. Neither AI recommendations nor editorial inclusion is a professional medical, nutritional, legal or financial assessment. Confirm allergens, ingredients, dietary needs and food-safety concerns directly with the provider. Do not rely on a recommendation for an urgent need.
Research-based posts are not necessarily firsthand restaurant reviews. An update date does not mean every detail has been checked on that exact day.
Marketplace and other external destinations
Discovery has no cart or checkout and does not process orders or payments. Marketplace links take you to EatHere Marketplace, a separate shopping service. Restaurant, ticket and program links may lead to other services.
The applicable Marketplace, seller, organizer and payment terms determine product descriptions, pricing, fulfillment, pickup, cancellations, refunds and customer support. These Discovery terms do not replace those agreements or waive applicable customer rights. A link is not a guarantee that an offering is available.
Responsible use and submissions
Use the service lawfully. Do not impersonate someone, submit false or infringing material, harass others, upload malicious content, evade rate limits, probe private systems or interfere with the service. Automated commercial extraction requires our written permission; ordinary search-engine indexing is not prohibited by this provision.
You are responsible for information you submit, including feedback, and must have the right to share it. We may use submissions to evaluate and respond to the request. A story idea does not guarantee a listing, publication or response date, and providing personal information in a request does not grant us permission to publish it indiscriminately.
We may restrict access needed to protect the service or address misuse.
Content, ownership and disclosures
EatHere’s brand and original content belong to EatHere or its licensors. Third-party images, quotations and other material remain subject to their owners’ rights. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may share links; reuse or commercial reproduction of protected content requires permission unless permitted by law or the applicable license.
Paid placements, relevant partnerships and commission-earning links must be disclosed in accordance with our Ethics policy. Send factual corrections or rights concerns to hello@eathere.co with the relevant link and supporting details.
Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete accuracy or that saved browser data will remain available.
To the extent permitted by law, EatHere and its personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from use of the service or reliance on its information. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits mandatory customer protections or removes rights you have under applicable law.
Governing law and changes
Indiana law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions and subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
We may update these terms and will show the revised date. Material revisions will receive at least 30 days’ notice before taking effect, consistent with our existing terms, and any notice required by law. Continuing to use the service after revised terms take effect signifies acceptance.
