When people ask me about memorable restaurant experiences, Colita in Minneapolis always comes in mind. I spent Memorial Day Weekend 2019 in town and got recommended to check the place out but couldn’t find a reservation. One night I went early and found a seat at the bar.
Colita is a modern Mexican restaurant located in the bustling neighborhood of Southwest Minneapolis. The restaurant, which is the brainchild of award-winning chef Daniel Del Prado, is known for its creative and flavorful Mexican cuisine, as well as its extensive collection of mezcal and tequila.
Drinks are often very decorative with one featuring a rubber ducky which has gone viral on more than one occasion.
