Chicken & Beer Festival returns for its sixth year on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 12 PM – 6 PM at University Park in downtown Indianapolis.
Founded in 2021, Chicken & Beer Festival has grown into a community gathering that highlights Indianapolis’ diverse food and drink scene while creating meaningful experiences for both locals and visitors. The event activates public space in the heart of the city, contributing to placemaking, community connection, and overall quality of life.
A core mission of Chicken & Beer Festival is supporting small businesses. The event operates on an equitable festival model with no vendor fees, allowing participating vendors to keep 100% of their sales. This approach ensures local restaurants, chefs, and beverage makers directly benefit from the event and gain exposure to new customers.
