Asaka sushi chef, Nina, posted a message Sunday evening on Instagram asking customers for their support. The statement said business has slowed even beyond when the pandemic hit. The message and caption below express their need for survival.
“Just because I’m gone (Nina, your sushi chef) doesn’t mean we aren’t serving good sushi. My dad (owner) is the one who selects all the fresh fish, and there are trained sushi chefs who are putting it together like what I was doing!
Go to Asaka! Support us! Give me a peace of mind on my maternity leave! We are open Thursday – Sundays! Spread the word! Thank you!!”
