April 24, 2020 – Kan-Kan Cinema & Brasserie won’t be your average dine-in cinema. Chef Abbi Merriss heads up the Brasserie – a standalone restaurant — serving up French cuisine. Kan-Kan also won’t feature the traditional mainstream movie releases; instead focusing on local, independent and cult classics.
The four screen cinema was to open in April, prior to stay-at-home regulations due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. But you don’t have to wait experience Kan-Kan. They’re offering #AtHomeCinema – a free viewing party event and live discussion via Slack every Friday evening at 8 PM.
