To show appreciation for healthcare workers on the frontline of the COVID-19 crisis, Greenleaf Juice is offering free meals to all healthcare workers next week, April 6-11.
The healthy restaurant concept with locations downtown and in Meridian Kessler has been seeking ways they can give back during a time when so many are risking the health and safety of themselves and their families.
“We know that we’re living in a time when healthcare workers are often working grueling hours, missing meals and sacrificing to take care of those in need,” says Co-Owner and Indy native Laura Flynn. “It is our hope that by fueling these medical heroes with nutrient-rich, plant-based foods, we can not only help them stay healthy themselves, but let them know that we’re grateful to them for all they do.”
How it Works
All medical workers are eligible to receive one free menu item per day from Greenleaf Juice during the week of April 6-11. To activate the promotion, healthcare workers can simply email heroes@greenleafjuice.com with their name, job title, and workplace information, and an activation code will be generated for use in online ordering for a free menu item of their choice, available for pickup at the Meridian Kessler location at 49th and Penn — 4930 N Pennsylvania St, Indianapolis, IN 46205. Greenleaf hours of operation are: 6am to 3pm daily. The Greenleaf Juice menu can be found HERE. Individual orders must be placed at least 15 minutes in advance.
Group Orders
Greenleaf Juice will also accommodate group orders, so long as they are scheduled in advance.
For group orders, orders must include all individuals, job titles, associated medical office/hospital, and email addresses in the initial email. Group orders for more than 5 products will be required to be submitted with at least 30 minutes notice. Group orders for more than 10 products for morning pick up must be scheduled the night before.
“It is an extremely difficult time for so many in this close-knit community. Giving back in this way not only helps those in the healthcare field, but allows us to put our staff back to work for the week, which is something we feel proud to be able to do,” said Flynn.
