April 19, 2022 – Dave’s Hot Chicken will open Friday, April 22nd on Mass Ave. It’s been a long wait for fans since the fast-growing chain was announced last May.
Dave’s Hot Chicken is moving into a 3,200 square foot space at the Penrose on Mass apartment building, which is also home to Condado Tacos, Kilwin’s, Latea Bubble Tea Lounge and LouVino.
This is the first of many locations planned in the area. Last summer franchisee group Dave Diggity CEO Todd Hollman told the IBJ, “I imagine we’ll develop 10 or 11 in Indianapolis” after signing an agreement to bring 28 locations to the Indiana and Ohio markets.
A Broad Ripple location is expected to open this summer at the former Noodles & Co.
