There’s a new donut shop making waves in Noblesville since opening inside the VFW on March 24 — Mochi Joy.
Mochi Joy sells a variety of mochi donuts, which are a cross between cake donuts and Japanese rice cakes – originating in Hawaii early in the 90’s.
According to an Instagram post, what makes a mochi donut different than a regular donut is “when you pull the mochi donut apart, you can see how chewy the texture is inside.”
The new bakery is open from Tuesday thru Friday, 11:30 am – 4:00 pm or until sold out.
Mochi Joy is currently available via carryout in addition to preordering thru their website. Flavors change daily, pictured is blueberry pie mochi donut.
